Who You Are

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Leadership, or a related discipline (required).

  • 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in long-term care, health services, or a similar sector.

  • Experience in human resources, finance, operations, and marketing.

  • Background in health sciences or as a Registered Nurse (an asset).

  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Role Overview, Expectations and Responsibilities

General Manager – Silverstone Care Centre
As the General Manager of Silverstone Care Centre, you will lead a dynamic long-term care home on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, ensuring excellence in care, services, and operations. Reporting to the President of Trellis Seniors Services, you will oversee all aspects of the centre’s performance, driving person-centered care, operational sustainability, and a culture of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion person and family-centered care, ensuring the voices of residents and families shape care delivery.
Foster a positive workplace culture that prioritizes collaboration, respect, and professional growth.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and achieve exemplary accreditation standards.
Oversee compliance with regulatory, financial, and health and safety requirements, ensuring operational and fiscal excellence.
Build meaningful connections with the community and position Silverstone as a leader in long-term care innovation.

You are an accomplished leader with a passion for creating joyful, connected, and thriving care environments. With 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in long-term care or health services, and a strong background in operations, human resources, and financial management, you are ready to inspire a team and make a lasting impact.

Compensation & What you can expect
